Introducing the Girls of Long Lane Newfies
When I began my search for some girls to join our family, there were a few things I knew I wanted in order to potentially breed them in the future. Because I knew there were some things that were common in Newfies, that could be genetically passed to their puppies, health tested parents were a must. I also really wanted that blocky head and large, heavy-boned body structure. And then of course, temperament is a must with this breed. Newfoundlands should have a sweet gentle disposition. Soooo.....meet the girls that we love and cherish here at Long Lane Newfies.
Nyla
~Meet Miss Nyla~
Nyla's home country is also Poland, but from a different breeder then Kasia. She is a spunky girl, full of life and soooo much energy! She never stops. She will do anything to get some attention and food is LIFE! Who can blame the girl there?! Nyla is black but according to her breeder would be recessive for brown, so we'll see if we get just blacks or possibly black and browns from her when it's her turn to be a momma! She has passed all her health testing and we hope to have Nyla babies early in 2025!

Minnow
~Introducing Minnow~
Minnow flew to me in mid 2023 from Belarus. She came from a show kennel called Midnight Bears. She was already 8 months old at the time, but adjusted to life here in the US quickly. She has excellent bloodlines and I have dreams of some day showing her if/when the opportunity comes. Her and I have attended a show handling class where she got most improved puppy! We had a lot of fun. Minnow LOVES to give kisses and is eager to please. We are awaiting all of her health clearances and if all goes well, hope to have her first litter in 2025!

~Millie Moo~
Millie also call's Poland her home country. Like the others, she flew into Chicago with a flight nanny, where we met her with open arms! She's been a happy-go-lucky girl from the start. She's a professional kisser and laps up attention like she may run out of it. Millie has long fluffy hair and is still growing but weighs in at 100 pounds currently. We can't wait to see some Millie look-a-like's when she has pups! Her health testing is completed and we are hoping for a fall 2024 litter!

My sweet "Maddie Mae," "Mad's," "Madders," "Madder Girl,"--truly a girl with many names. I knew I had to keep a puppy from Kasia's (you can see her info under the "retired" page) last litter. Kasia was just the best girl ever and had such amazing puppies. I couldn't resist continuing her bloodline. This little girl is truly one of the sweetest puppies. She wants nothing more then to climb onto your lap and snuggle. She would prefer that over even a treat. We will love her and snuggle her as long as she will let us, and as long as she still fits in our laps! And when she's old enough, we will start the health testing with her to hopefully some day have some gorgeous babies just like herself.
